What to expect from sessions

50 Minute Sessions

All of my sessions are 50 minutes in length and can either be online or face to face in Bromley, South East London depending on your preferences. Throughout our sessions, I will aim to create a safe space in order for you to feel that your experiences are heard and taken seriously.

Initial Consultation

At your initial consultation, I will gather some information from you in relation to the factors that have brought you to therapy so that we can think about the best way that you can be supported with this.

Ongoing Therapy Sessions

Throughout the rest of our therapy sessions, I provide a therapeutic approach that is tailored to your individual needs in order to give space to the experiences that you feel are important to talk about and to empower you to develop new tools, perspectives and coping strategies that enable you to overcome any difficulties you are facing.

Approaches I use in my sessions

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Identify vicious cycles of difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours and find new perspectives and ways of responding to these.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Build acceptance of difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences and re-connect with important values and activities.

Compassion Focused Therapy

Relieve suffering experienced by shame, abuse and stigma by learning to develop a more self-compassionate way of living.

Narrative

Therapy

Seperate problems out from your personal identity and empower you to re-story your life in ways that highlight the skills and qualities that have enabled you to overcome adversity.

Soluton Focused

Therapy

Focus on solutions rather than problems and identify ways in which you are already employing these solutions to work towards your goals.
